What I Do

There was a time when stories were alive.

Nothing was solid, nothing consistent. We told tales of experiences, of things we had heard about, of lands and worlds that existed in dreams. Stories were lifeblood, passed down from person to person, forever shifting, forever changing. There was no such thing as canon or ownership, simply the words spoken and the ears they fell upon.

Today, locked up in our homes, separated from those we care about, stories have once again risen to the occasion. Books, songs, tv shows, games, movies, stories are everywhere, just waiting for us to experience them.

I aim to reawaken life in the old tales. To create poetry and songs, prose, and tales that breathe life into the stories long dead, and create new words to stand among them. Help me to share another tale round the fire.

I can’t wait to get started.
